MAIN COURSES OF THE PROGRAM

Compulsory Courses: These are the courses determined by YÖK or Higher Education Institutions and are compulsory for all programs and courses that aim to provide basic and common competencies for the department and/or program..

Vocational Courses: These are courses aimed at providing qualifications related to the profession. Vocational courses will be selected from the course plan and implemented by educational institutions within the framework of the relevant legislation, according to the qualification table.

Elective Courses: Will be selected from courses in the relevant program or other programs, taking into consideration the student's individual development and quality of life, sectoral and regional needs, the conditions of the educational institution and the acquisition of additional competencies that will contribute to the student's employment, interdisciplinary studies, etc..

Study Subjects: The aim of the Laboratory and Veterinary Health program is to train technical staff equipped with theoretical and practical knowledge on animal health and laboratory.

During the education; basic vocational courses such as Veterinary Anatomy, Ethology, Microbiology and Epidemiology, Histology and Embryology, Physiology, Information and Communication Technology, Basic Mathematics, Atatürk's Principles and History of Turkish Revolution, Turkish Language, Foreign Language, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Veterinary Laboratory Techniques, Biosafety and Environmental Health, Animal Science and Animal Welfare, Veterinary Services Legislation and Ethics, Feed Information and Animal Nutrition, Biochemistry, Birth Information and Artificial Insemination, Basic Herd Health Management, Foot Health in Farm Animals, Epidemic and Zoonotic Diseases, Basic Veterinary Pathology, Veterinary Vaccination Information and Applications, Parasitic Diseases and Prevention, Breast Diseases and Milking Hygiene, Basic Clinical Information, Basic Veterinary Radiology, Introduction to Veterinary Anesthesiology, Basic Principles of Food Safety and various elective courses are given.
