Of course, the Department of Medical Services and Techniques is a department that trains technical personnel to work in the health sector. In this department, students are generally taught topics such as the use of medical devices and equipment, laboratory tests, medical imaging technologies, organization and management of health services. Students gain technical skills in the provision of health services and can work in health institutions such as hospitals, clinics, laboratories, health centers. This department offers an important education and career opportunity for those who want to pursue a career in the health sector.

Purpose of the Program

Purpose of the Program: To train technical personnel who are experienced in laboratories, animal nutrition and breeding, breeding of cultured and pet animals, preventive vaccination, artificial insemination, within the scope of the field of work of Veterinary Medicine, who can perform food and pathological analyses in public and private laboratories affiliated with the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, who can combat epidemic and parasitic diseases, and who can assist veterinarians in clinical examinations and operations.

​The aim of the Laboratory and Veterinary Health program is to train technical staff equipped with theoretical and practical knowledge on animal health and laboratory.

During the education; basic vocational courses such as Veterinary Anatomy, Ethology, Microbiology and Epidemiology, Histology and Embryology, Physiology, Information and Communication Technology, Basic Mathematics, Atatürk's Principles and History of Turkish Revolution, Turkish Language, Foreign Language, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Veterinary Laboratory Techniques, Biosafety and Environmental Health, Animal Science and Animal Welfare, Veterinary Services Legislation and Ethics, Feed Information and Animal Nutrition, Biochemistry, Birth Information and Artificial Insemination, Basic Herd Health Management, Foot Health in Farm Animals, Epidemic and Zoonotic Diseases, Basic Veterinary Pathology, Veterinary Vaccination Information and Applications, Parasitic Diseases and Prevention, Breast Diseases and Milking Hygiene, Basic Clinical Information, Basic Veterinary Radiology, Introduction to Veterinary Anesthesiology, Basic Principles of Food Safety and various elective courses are given.
